l just got myself this stability ball, because it had such good reviews, but now with it being here I am not so sure anymore. Is it any good? what does it do? Weight loss or toning? And how do you use it?

Yes, that stability ball really does a LOT for you. What is good about it is it works more than one area at a time, meaning, less time u need to spend exercising! Not only do u do the exercises on or with the ball, but u also build ur core strength while u r balancing on the ball & when u strengthen ur core it pulls ur abs in, makes ur back straighter, it really is good. At first it can be a bit awkward, but it does get easier, & if u need, u can brace ur feet against a wall until ur balance gets better. Check on line for exercises with the ball. I'd give it a go, l really enjoy working with it now. Good luck.
