what are the pros and cons of gastric bypass

My mother had this done. It was very important for her to lose a lot of weight in a fast way. She states that pros r that the weight does come off & fast. The only thing is that u have to make sure ur health is good first & that to remember that it takes a lot of vitamins out of you. Plus u have to be prepared for the eating issues that come along with it. You can become sick very easy. But keep in mind if this is what u want & what u need & u can prepare for it, it is probably a good idea.
