16 yr old looking for a healthy diet

Hi. im a 16 yr old girl. im 5' 1/2'' l weigh about 111. l am not trying to loose weight, l just want a healthy eating plan, because l eat way too much junk food. l have a very large appetite for a girl. So, any cheap but very healty diet plans for me?

If u want a healthy diet, do not bother with diets like the atkin is diet because they r very bad for you. u should eat about 4-5 small meals a day. this is what l do, & i'm pretty fit & i'm a long distance runner & do regular sports! here is an example.

breakfast: 2 weetabix with semi-skimmed milk/special k [avoid processed foods, stick to the good old natural stuff like porridge], or wholemeal toast & egg whites [200 calories]
snack: 1 apple or any other fruit [50 calories]
lunch: sandwiches r the best with wholemeal bread, have a variety - cheese, ham, chicken etc. - very healthy for you/ or u could have some pasta, but not too much or something else along the lines of that [300 calories]
snack: have a vege salad, have as much as u feel like but only use a bit of salad dressing. if vege is r not ur thing, have a granola bar which is about 150 calories, or toast or something like that. [150 calories at the most]
dinner: grilled chicken breast with vegetables, or brown rice & lentils etc. [400-500 calories]
supper: u could have more fruit, that would be very healthy, or u could have a little treat, like a little chocolate, if u really want it. [100 calories]

alltogether,you shoudl have about 1700 calories a day, if u want to maintain ur weight.

if you're going to exercise, l suggest adding more portions.

if u follow a diet like that, you'd be very healthy indeed.

A healthy diet really is not cheap by any standards unless u suggest that the value of ur health is priceless. Most humans do not get enough sleep, exercise or drink enough water. l suggest u start there, soda pop is very bad & it gets far worse when u go into diet foods, anything that says low fat, low calorie or low anything has poisons in them (seriously). Look up aspartame & splenda. A typical healthy diet will have a diverse number of fruits & vegetables as well as some meats, & bread. The real magic trick is eating diversely. l also recommend looking into multivitamins to supplement ur diet. Apples, oranges, pineapple, oranges, asparagus, squash, grapes, strawberries & berries of any sort, plums, peaches, tomatoes, bananas, a fair number of nuts, & potatoes. Essentially if u could live off of the produce section ur body would be very very strong. Good luck!

well first off let me say that it is great that u want to set up a healthy eating plan!
A healthy eating plan must consist of a variety of foods. You can still eat the foods u desire, in moderation.
You start by making small steps to go for.
Such as limiting junk food(fast food, chips, cookies)to a couple times a week.
Now junk food is not very filling which is probably why u eat a lot of it.
Vegetables, fruits, & whole wheat products r much more filling. However eating vegetables probably would not be as enjoyable as eating junk food. So try some dips to go with ur veggies.
You'd be surprised how much veggies & fruits can satisfy a big appetite.
However, this stuff comes at a price & u might want to start saving ur money for it.
BTW, stay hydrated(with water) because sometimes ur body could be mistaking dehydration for hunger!
So drink water, & u will probably stay satisfied longer.
